In this paper, Javier Olivera, a medical doctor and specialist in psychiatry, talks about the group of disabled people as visitors, spectators and "gaudidors" exhibitions.

  • The different types of mental disabilities and their chances in front of the art.
  • Addressing the possibility that contemporary museums open to people with mental disabilities.
  • Introduce the role of museums and contemporary art in integration policies (antiestigma).
