INTERNATIONAL PANORAMA – Spanish Premiere
Subtitled in Catalan

In 1972, John Lennon and Yoko Ono took over America’s most-watched daytime TV program, The Mike Douglas Show, reaching 40 million viewers a week. For one unforgettable week, they turned daytime television into a platform for revolution: five daring episodes featuring Yippies founder Jerry Rubin, Black Panthers leader Bobby Seale, activist Ralph Nader, and comedian George Carlin. Now, Erik Nelson (producer for some Werner Herzog’s films) resurrects this groundbreaking experiment in live television: open mics for the audience, candid debates on police violence and women’s liberation, flashes of conceptual art, and unique music performances—from Lennon’s duet with Chuck Berry to a moving rendition of Imagine.

Cast: John Lennon, Yoko Ono, Mike Douglas, Chuck Berry, George Carlin, Jerry Rubin, Bobby Seale, E.V. Di Massa, Nobuko Miyamoto, Ralph Nader, Hilary Redleaf, Vivian Reed, David Rosenboom, Gary Schwartz.
