Discover how the Barcelona Symphonic Band rehearses!
Attend the dress rehearsal before the concert and live a unique listening experience. The Barcelona Symphonic Band opens its doors in the middle of the dress rehearsal and invites you to discover its fascinating world of sound.
Before entering the hall, you will learn about its history, the repertoire they perform and what the day-to-day life of the musicians and the conductor is like. Once inside the hall, you will listen and observe live how they prepare for the performance.
Although the title of the concerts highlights one of the works in the program or the reason for the performance, it is important to bear in mind that you will attend the first part of the dress rehearsal in which a part of the program will be worked on and prepared that may or may not coincide with the highlighted work.
The activity consists of three parts: 25 minutes of introduction, 1 hour of attendance at the rehearsal and 15 minutes of comments.
We recommend complementing the activity with a visit to the Music Museum, with prior reservation.
