Description
Tells the story of Judith Scott, an American sculptor of 62 years that comes to international recognition after living 36 years in a psychiatric institution. Judith has Down syndrome and is deaf. His story, told through her twin sister, Joyce, without disabilities, is the trigger for a film that travels the Creative Growth Art Center in California and discovers other characters as Judith seek to express themselves through art.
What's under the hat? It is a reflection on the isolation that can result in disability, and how through art is achieved restore communication.
