A jorney -like Gesture

Where does a piece of art begin? When I think about it? When I move my body to create it? Or perhaps in all the sketches and tests I have made beforehand?

This dynamic tour of the Miró and the United States exhibition will focus on gesture and gesturality as key elements for observing and understanding the different works.

We will engage with the works through the body, observing their energy, substance and intensity, recognising the trace of each stroke and understanding gesture as a form of artistic identity. We will explore a variety of gestures, strokes and registers made with the whole body to end up creating a combined piece. Are you ready?
